Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup and mustard

Instructions:
1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty slightly larger than the buns.
3. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
4. Cook the patties for about 4 minutes on one side, then flip.
5. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the burger is cooked to your liking.
6. Toast the hamburger buns lightly on the grill or skillet.
7. Assemble the burger by placing lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on the bottom bun, followed by the cheeseburger patty.
8. Add ketchup and mustard as desired, then top with the other half of the bun.
9. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
